Future Beta, DBA: LanLabs, or L2 as it’s affectionately called, has made a profound mark in the technology world since it’s inception in 2000. First making it’s mark with our 10,000sqft LAN gaming center in NYC’s trendy Lower East Side. This massive gaming facility was equipped with gourmet coffee bar, restaurant, lounge and ultra-modern collocation facility powered by our own private OC3.
Next we entered the global ISP market with our streamlined, low latency network named G-Layer. Although we never officially launched the project in it’s entirety due to certain “politics”, it’s existence laid the groundwork for a lot of the new technology we see in today’s networking environment.
During all this we managed to create some new server technology that led to the fastest game servers in our time, sponsored over 600 professional gaming teams and introduced some well known advertising clients into the gaming world, helping catapult it to the dominate medium it has become.
In addition to our other projects, we used our connections in the technology world to launch ShopL2. We were tired of lies, deception and monopoly style marketing dominating the industry. We watched to many consumers and small business owners fall prey to this industry.
LanLabs has been founded on the motto: The latest technology with some old word values. Our products come from the finest facilities available and we have all the advantages of the “big boys”, yet our core founding members not only oversee, but get directly involved in all facets of corporate endeavors.

By leveraging our industry connections and leasing space we gain all the experience, wisdom and technology, without all the cost. This is why our computers simply perform better, last longer and have our famous “bang for the buck” reputation.
We also do not use any proprietary equipment in our builds even though we have access to one of the largest manufacturing firms in the country. A lot of the components in computers are outsourced. Companies take an existing product, put their name on it, buy in bulk and adjust the price. While a good business practice for the company, it is not for the consumer. We do not want to have to “push” a product because we bought too many. At LanLabs, we want to offer you the best value component and will remain free of the “must sell” pressures that plague other companies. We do not favor any technology over another, nor are we contracted to sell anything. If we offer a component, it is because we think that component is the best bang for the buck out there. We work with seven different distributors and hundreds of manufacturers and can get just about any product on the market for a great price. We have a choice, so you have a choice.
The final, and maybe the most important reason to choose LanLabs, is our warranty service. We use all the strengths of the industry and offer a level of flexibility never before seen. If you have a problem you simply hit a button on your desktop and we fix the problem for you. No long hold times, no fighting with some underpaid tech that has never seen your computer. We do all that for you. Your sales rep gets a description of the problem and their team diagnoses it using our state of the art remote repair software. Then they call the warranty company and file a ticket on your behalf. Doing this is not only less strain on you, but your problem is diagnosed by the people who built your PC and the same outsourcing “professionals” used by the rest of the industry. So you get the best of both worlds with the least amount of hassles and no hold time. If its not backed by the warranty, its backed by our build facility, if its not backed by them, its backed by us.
