Value is the overall price versus performance benchmark
score. In other words, a value of 10 means this PC scored three times higher than
the average PC in its price range.
Upgradability is a score based on the amount of slots
available and the level of technology in the PC.
Web surfing is based on the computer’s ability to open and
process pages under stress. We test this with a download, upload, loading flash
and loading scripts while opening other pages. The more pages the PC can open
the higher the score. Any L2 PC will surf the web with amazing speed.
Pictures are scored similar
to the web surfing test. We open,
rotate, resize a picture while constantly opening others. The more it opens,
the higher the score.
Office score is also a stress test, but in this case we
measure load time and processing time under different load operations.
Photoshop stress test also measures load times while the PC
is under heavy use.
Our PC’s will perform well at any of these tasks by themselves;
we test them under stress so we can see how they will perform when you need
them most. This is why LanLabs constantly sets performance benchmarks in
getting you the most performance for you hard earned dollar.
